Melia Cancun Beach & Spa Resort (800.336.3542 or 998.885.1114) is very large and modern resort that is very popular for wedding and conventions. If you traveling on your own and are looking for a lively place to stay, this is the place. They also have an excellent golf course.

Like many other resort towns, Cancun offers rentals of villas, condos and homes. It can be a great way to stay if you are staying for a long time or if you are a large group or a family. The places for rent are usually luxury properties, but can be cheaper than most Cancun hotels.
